Atlanta Chef Joey Ward was preparing for a special event dinner at the Atlanta Film Festival and had an idea for a dessert inspired by his new neighbor, the Plaza Theatre. Joey loves to dump a box of M&M's into his popcorn at the theater. So he wanted to create that type of experience with the popcorn being presented as ice cream.
Enter Chef Rebecca Haynes. We ran downtown and got her the actual popcorn from the Plaza Theatre and she turned it into a one of a kind ice cream experience. Here's the full story in our new series, "Made By Chefs."
